With most Tournaments launching out of Wax, what's the possibility of launching out of Moutidier's Ramp?

Hey etown,

I live only about 10 miles from Uncle Lee's. Pat has ordered a lot of different fishing stuff for me, so I'll swing by and see if she can get Unc.... that's not what we call him.. lol, Mr. Fauntleroy... much better... to throw in some stuff.

Also, Ctfshwhisker is going to fish with me that day.

He is in the middle of moving, so hopefully nothing will prevent him from coming. Heck, I hope nothing stops me. We sold our farm, so we are going to busy also getting rid of over 70 years worth of stuff. Not mine, but my Pop's stuff mostly. Well, somehow in the last 20 years my wife and I too have gotten a lot of stuff out here too. *sigh* Shoot, I'm already missing the farm.

Let's all fish... let's get more folks signed up.

I really look forward to meeting you guys.

Danny

Just a heads up, there were a few tournaments scheduled for this weekend that were canceled due to the winter storm and I know at least one - the UofL tournament is rescheduled for the 29th out of wax. So you may want to plan accordingly. Also, it may be worth the while to fish one of the open tournaments and just do a kyhunting side pot.

Hey Guys,

I know we don't have a lot of folks yet committed to attending, and thought I would let you know I've called a buddy of mine who runs the Lake Malone Bass Club website. I've asked him to let the members know that this tournament is taking place, and he may even get it listed on his website.

I've also contacted Uncle Lee's to see if they might be interested in providing some grab bags with baits, hats, or other promotional materials for give aways at the tourney. I know they often have marked down baits, and suggested they could take some of those and make some give away bags. Sorry, didn't ask for any Lucky Craft Baits....LOL

I'm still excited about the tourney, hope you all are too.

Danny

PS, anyone else want to mention it to other clubs, go for it. The more the merrier. As a disclaimer, I have to say, I catch many more fun fishing than I do in tournaments. It has to be mental.

I believe one person of the team must be a member of KyHunting.net...So you should be able to use your dad as your partner. But check with the rules on page #1 to be sure 100%.....

Yea, he can be your partner. One person in the boat needs to be a member.

Hey Guys,

My partner can't make it, and as it turns out, I have other things I need to take care of too. So I guess I am out. I was only going to fish because I had invited someone to fish with me, and did not want to break my word to him. Since he can't make it, I can drop out too with no guilt.

Good luck to you guys. I just checked and the lake is only 5 feet from summer pool, so you guys should have plenty of water to fish, especially if this rain keeps up as expected.

Danny

PS, I called Chad at Uncle Lee's. He said that Joey Steel would be the one to take care of any decision as to whether to support this tournament with give aways etc..... Chad tried to transfer me, but Joey could not be found. Chad said he or Joey would call me back. No luck. I can't even remember how long ago that was. Anyway, I think it is safe to say that we should not expect any support from Uncle Lee's.

Going to pull out of the 29th Tourney for KyHunting.net, sounds like only about 3 to 4 boats are only going to show up. Instead I'm going to fish the U of L Open Tournament.

I'd fish it if I am off and somebody has a spot in a boat for me. If this thing is still on let me know so I can find out if I am off work.

You can count me and one other in on the tourney the 29th. Do we just register at the day of the tourney or is there something we need to do online.

Looks like this isnt gonna happen, Still no scales, and one person that was so touchy about the tourny is gonna back out then tell us he is gonna fish another tourney at the same lake on the same day. Several ppl said for someone to step 4ward and set a tourney up, i did, sorry guys i tried.

Now that idea happens all of the time. It happened last weekend and will happen again in 2 weeks. ;)

Drive on down for the wingding thing.

For everyones info I had already set things up to fish both at the same time! I was going to quit 45 minutes early so that if I had fish to weigh I could weigh in at both Weigh-in locations. But due to the lack of entrants for the KyHunting.net Tournament. Don't look like I would get to fish both, but I'll still be there with bells on my toe's waiting to see who shows up.

Also it was suggested by another fisherman to have everyone from the KyHunting tournment, sign-up for the U of L Tournament, then have a side pot for the KyHunting Tournament...No scales would be needed...have the weights that are recorded by the U of L Officials....

So how could I actually pull out of something that hasn't actually happened, if your there I'll be entered for both......:)
