Im a long time grouse hunter but just found this forum .Looks pretty kool so far ,by the way im from around grayson and I like to bird hunt every day I can.Also I noticed in one of the messages that someone mentioned Wesley Watson just so happens that I work with Westley an alot of jobs.But anyway glad to meet you guys ...

Rib, we have several members (Ky. Grouse Hunters) from the Grayson area. You should come aboard. We have a hunt next weekend, if your interested. Let me know.

Well guys sorry to say I have been layed up since the first of november I broke my pelvic in two place and my L3 vertibra in my back so ive only been out hunting twice but im ready to go now and healed up .. Not that that will make any difference with the way I shoot..I went hunting sunday and got one bird up the first of the season for me and it came up wild and didnt really offer any shot at all..Gonna try it wednesday I think ..

I have a Llewellen setter that is 5 yrs old and a english setter on the way in march out of grouse ridge grouse wing lines.My older setter does pretty good I just wish I had more birds for her shes got some rust while ive been hurt..

rib, if you haven't noticed, you can't pay any attention to GSP, when it comes to dogs. Anyone that would cut the tail off of a dog would do or say anything.[:D] And timberdoodle gave you good advice. Keep those boot on.[;)]
