Mounting a pheasant shouldn't be difficult. Just lay it down on the bed and swing one leg over. Not exactly sure why you'd wanna do that though.

They had a Bob and Tom with Mr. Obvious...someone called in asking about how to properly "mount" a fish. It was pretty funny.

Cabelas has some really nice looking pheant mounts in their catalog if it doesn't matter to you that its not the actual bird you killed. I've never seen one in person but they seem pretty reasonably priced.

Coy's Taxidermy in New Haven in Nelson Co. I can guarantee a great looking mount. He has a studio as well so you can see his work. Let me know if you want his number.

This thread reminds me of that age old hunting joke....
I was hunting with a buddy in West Virginia last year. Anyhow we ran into this guy who had killed a really nice 10 pt buck with his bow. The man was obviously excited so we asked him what his plans were for the buck. "I am gonna take it home and mount it!" he said proudly "and then afterwards...I am gonna take it to the taxidermist":D
