Story goes these photos were taken in Crittenden County on a ladys porch during the ice storm. Recieved the photos in my email, so I can't validate and of these, so in all honesty they could have been taken on a tame cat on someones farm in montana, or whereever. Just thought some would like to see them.

Thats what I was afarid we were going to encounter with this. I myself have never seen one, so I find it hard to believe we have them here without a some sort of proof.
I also found it hard to believe that a true "wild" cat would venture onto someones back porch...winter storm or not!

Read "The Beast in the Garden" by David Baron. I lived in near the places he talks about. I know of people who have had mountain lions in there yard, porch, roof. Dog runs have to be fully enclosed or they will go over the top and grab a snack. These types of encounters are getting more and more frequent where there are Mountain Lions.
As far as Lions in Kentucky, I doubt it, but you never know. Maybe someones zoo pet escaped.

Man.......I'll never understand the way people will flat out lie about something, and then the gullibility of others to believe them.
This kind of obvious fib telling is what perpetuates this ridiculous myth. If we had as many of these phantom cougars as people claim to see, we'd have a more liberal season than the western states.

Heck you didn't know, no big deal. I remember seeing that picture about 4 different times at different sights.

Grant, I thought you were a little sharper than that.... I got those pics in an e-mail last thursday. I knew they were fake right off. 1) no one in crittenden has a log cabin that nice. 2) no one in crittenden had power during or 1 week after the ice storm 3) there wasn't a spit-tune by the back door.

I've seen this a couple of time. But regardless where it was taking it's crazy to have a mountain lion on a backporch looking in at you.

So are you trying to say everyone in Crittenden is a backwoods hick? I'm getting ready to be a resident of Crittenden before too long...better watch out.

My thoughts exactly. That is why we keep hearing rumors all the time and nothing to back it up, except lies and misleading propaganda.

Buddy these pics have been floating around for sometime. Somebody checked this on snopes.com and they are from out west in wyoming or washington. If you could post a pic of the track molds so we all can laugh out loud. Betcha they are not of a lion from his critteden farm.

If these were taken next to your friends house then get him to take some pics of the same porch and door without the cat in them and I might believe it a little more but I think you buddy is pullin your leg! These pics have3 been aound quite awhile!
