I'm kind of partial to trilene, unless I go for the big stuff. Then I like Ande.

P-line or Seaguar! It would be a toss up but I mainly use P-line. These are some of the toughest lines made.

Personally, I like Stren. I have tried P-line, but man, memory of that stuff is horrendous, or at least that was my experience.

Trilene worked well for me too.

I'm wanting to try flourocarbon, and don't really know why I don't, but just haven't "felt" right about it yet.

I also have read a lot about others who love the bass pro line.

Good luck, try several, and you'll find the one that works best for you.

Fluorocarbon line is all I use anymore except on my top waters. The line sinks and it will mess the action of your topwaters up! Fluorocarbon is very sensitive, you can feel if a fish even breaths on it!:D It also has great hooksetting ability due to less stretch than mono. This stuff is extremely stout in line weight ratios compared to mono. When you get around the 20 to 25lb range for flipping, you cannot hardly break it. I'm sold on it!

Always favored Stren--especially the extra tough in the black box which now for some reason I can't find anymore--tried the Stren in the yellow box and didn't like it at all

I have had good luck with the cajun line for crappie fishing and saltwater fishing.

I was a Stren Clear Blue floresent man for many years, a couple years ago I tried the Bass Pro brand mono (EXCEL) and I love it! I've started using both mono and florocarbon for different types of fishing. Now all I use is BPS brand mono and florocarbon line (XPS). The price is great and it is quality line! A fishing buddy of mine called it "generic" line at first, now he uses it too.

Like the others I have gone to mostly florocarbon fishing line, crank baits run deeper, plastics stay on the bottom better on a quick retrieve. The only times I use mono now is for topwater and occasionally when I'm flipping structure and want a slower fall, florocarbon tends to go straight to the bottom while mono gives more of a "flutter" for when the bass want to look at it for a second.

Read the reviews for the line, people who use it love it!

I've always had good luck with Trilene XL and it is my go-to line. For some reason Stren gaums up on up my baitcasters like it was chewing gum.

I tried the Stren Super Knot and fell in love. I fish alot of baitcasters and when I make a nest its not too hard to get it out. But I like Trilene for Spinners.

Personally, I love Stren Low Memory 17# for my bass reels. Only line I will buy. Ive tried Trilene and stripped it off all my reels after one fishing trip. Will never use it again. For my panfish reels, I favor the Basspro brand Mr. Crappie line(6#-8#). Works great and is fairly cheap compared to others.
