Pennyrile State Forest

New to area, can anyone tell me how the deer hunting is on the Pennyrile State Forest? How about other species? Turkey, squirrel, others.[?]

Cut my turkey hunting teeth down there[;)]Loved the place. Im ashamed to admit i ain't been down there since Clarence Gilispie,a friend and the local CO, passed away. At that time it was'nt a great deer hunting place tho i did see one dandy buck there fall turkey hunting once. Much better turkey hunting spot. It's 99% hardwoods unless it's changed in the past three years or so.
