i have the privilege to be able to have access to some places on the cincinnati/northern kentucky international airport property that the normal passer by cant see and wow today there must have been a flock of at least 25 + walking around scratching out in a middle of a field. had a few good size toms walking around on the edge of the woods as well as a few jakes! can tell these boys and girls dont see much hunting pressure! but wow to just sit there and watch em for a while got my heart racing! cant wait for that first spring morning when the woods come a live!! GOBBLE GOBBLE!!!! thanks for letting me share my story! good luck to all!

i travel along 275 W quite often and many MANY times i have seen turkeys along the way and 99% of the times its all gobblers..
i have actually seen them eating right along side of the road...
do see deer occasionally but way more turkeys
in fact during my travels across the state it seems all i have been seeing is groups of gobblers... mostly in bean/cornfields have not a clue where all the hens are hiding come on spring

I saw turkeys more than once at Marydale -houston rd and at the airport picnic area
I am jealous of anyone that are permitted to hunt on the airport VAST land

hey redneck they call it the cincinnati airport because of it being a tristate thing. the funny thing is that the aiport itself is in boone cty but all the maintaince and up keep is done by the kenton county airport board. its crazy! been like that forever.

Had anyone heard of any gobbles yet. It wont be long. I heard some birds gobbling down here in southern kentucky the 1st day of march in 2007.

forener must be a short time because boone cty. airport was a military base during or after world war 11
the airport police and boone co. police do their maintaince
