Hello, Does anyone hunt with a winchester 1300 12ga. 2 3/4'', 3'', and if so, what kind of ckoke & load combination gives the best pattern.
Right now I'm using the walmart brand TRU-Glow, Gobble Stopper, diameter of that choke is .665, and i have found thus far winchester 3'' 1 3/4oz. with 4oz. shot is thowing at 30yrds. about 15 pellets each in the head and neck and every where elsa. Hope I did not buy a bad brand, I paid $250.00 for it, Also, at 40yrds. the pattern opens up considerly only landing maybe 3to 5 in the leathal area. Any suggestions? I hope I did all right buy this gun. I'm ging to try this Fedreal brand this weekend and see how it works. Its a 3'' 2oz. , 4oz. shot. $11.50 a box it beeter thow a pattern the size of a soft ball. Boy, that would make me more confiadent.
