I just got this link from a friend. I knew there was another reason besides deer hunting that I was moving to the great state of Kentucky! Have any of you guys ever been to this? Just freakin awesome! If this is still going on it will be on the top of my to do list. Next year.

Me and my dad went to the Spring shoot last year. It was pretty awsome. I recommend getting thier early and prepare to stay all day, especially if you want to watch the night shoot, which is probaly the highlight of the whole thing.

I have been to this probably 25 times or more. It has become a complete circus. Use to be just as many shooters with ALOT less spectators. As already mentioned, go early and plan on spending the day.

It is still a great time, it has just outgrown itself. Pay the fee to use a video camera and record it. Just like the link that started this thread, your friends wont believe how awesome it is.

If you're into class III stuff, make a list and bring LOTS of money. My wife says I'm like a kid in the candy store. BadDuck is right, it has become somewhat of a circus in the last few years. Too many flea market type items for sale now. However, if you're looking for hard to come items chances are you can find them.

I thought everybody in the state knew about this thing! They really need to construct a new spectator area for the main shooting range. Those few bleachers get filled up in the morning and never empty. I'm tired of walking up that darn hill after renting some class III fun on the lower range! :D There was a minigun for sale there a couple years ago. Yours for the low, low price of $160,000!

By far the most impressive guns are the M2 .50 Machine gun and the M61 Vulcan, Im pretty sure thats the names. Those are the show stoppers along with some field artillery.
