If you like heavy shot turkey loads better buy all you can. Dealer told me the two split and there is not going to be anymore heavy shot for a while. I order two boxes. The new remington nitros are out of this world. Sixty dollars a box of 10 and going up.

That happened about a year ago. Environ-metal is loading their own again so all is not lost.

My wife shoots the Remington Hevi Shot in her 20. She has several boxes and still picks up a box now and then. Whittakers has some, not sure what shot size in 12 gauge but the 20s are #4 shot. My friend at Bucks and Jakes in Boonville IN. has 20s in #6s. Tom T.

Here are the Hevi-Shot loads you want. They are much better than the ones Remington loaded. Be absolutely sure you get 2 ounce in 3 inch or 2.25 ounce in 3.5 inch, because the 1 5/8 ounce doesn't pattern well.
My BPS will put 250 in a 10 at 40 with the 2.25 ounce loads and an Indian Creek Choke. With Nitro Triplex it will go over 300. However, how dead is dead? I shoot the Hevi-13.

Performance.......when you start patterning a gun and at 20 yards you are punching a hole the size of a baseball through the paper you know you are onto something special......
The loads manufactured by Nitro are built for the gun......They are not a one size fits all shell.......
If you want the best with all the guess work removed from the equation then invest in them....If buying a half dozen boxes of shells in various load sizes and shell casing lengths and 3 or 4 different tubes to find something you can live with seems cheaper to you then by all means have at it......I prefer to spend my time doing other things....
Im willing to bet that I have one of the tightest best shooting guns in the turkey woods using Nitro Shells and a Rhino Tube. Yeah the shells are expensive but so was the Berretta Extrema.......Why hunt with $1000 shotgun that shoots like an 870? Been there done that......
Besides I dont like leaning over and grabbing a handful of turkey legs and all the sudden having my should dislocated because the bird is still having the dying quivers......

They exist...and they are the real deal. Work great with the Jellyhead choke in most guns
