It looks like a good load.
I was wondering if anyone has tried it.If so what did you try.
I would be shooting the 3.5 mags with 1 7/8 of shot.
Thanks for any responce.

I use the remington 3" no#4 turkey load shot. Never had any problems. Last year we took some up to 55 yards. Any remington turkey loads you should not have any problems. Good luck.

For the price of hd I can buy a few different boxes of other shells and pattern them all, find the best load, and use it to kill a bird. Why spend the extra $ when the cheap stuff kills them as dead as the expensive stuff?

Im putting on average about 300 pieces of shot in a 10" circle at 40 yards out of a Berretta Extrema......Do you have any recommendations that will come even close to that?

I'd say the same combo I am
Beretta Xtrema
Rhino choke
Nitro custom hevi shot turky loads
I have patterned about everything out there and this is by far the best load/choke combo I have come across.
My back up turkey gun (loan to friends I take) has a kicks gobbling thunder with winchester supremes and is a good shooter, but nothing like the above mentioned combo.
Do you have to have it? No
If you want the best performance you can get? Yes
Can you kill turkeys with cheap shells? Yes

Yep.....
Berretta Extrema 3.5 inch 12 ga.
H51013 Nitro Shells
.660 extended Rhino Tube
Wish the Jelly Head would have been an option when I first set the gun up....That would have saved me about $50.....
The shells are expensive but then again the Berretta wasnt cheap either!

I set my daughters Rem 1100 and my sons Mossberg Bantam 500 up with Nitro Hevi Shot shells and they both shoot better at 40 yards than most 12 gauge guns I have seen...

Nice- I'm going to have to set my sons 20 gauge Beretta up for it too for this year. Better get on it.

I would recommend just using the full choke tube that comes with the 20 gauge.....
