I'm looking for a place to take my wife turkey hunting. She has shown some interest and i would like to make her first time out enjoyable. By this, i am trying to gain permission or pay a fee for someone to allow her and myself access to a good turkey population. I won't be hunting, but would like to be along for the experience. I'm not looking for a guaranteed hunt, but simply a place where she could at least see the birds put on a show. I hunt Taylorsville wma often and enjoy the challenge, however the hunting is tough due to the pressure. Therefore, i just don't believe she would enjoy it as much. If anyone knows of someone or would be willing to have us just for a day, i would greatly appreciate it. I don't mind paying a fee, but i can't justify paying $250-$300 a day for a hunt. Anyways, thanks for your time and consideration. BTW, i'm not looking to establish a place where i have permission all the time. This would be, more or less, a learning experience for her.
