Ducks-Plants?

I have access to several ponds in my area That look like great duck ponds but they are very little usage by ducks someone told me that I might need to put out some duck plants in the pond to attract ducks does anyone know what kind a plants would I need ?

Look at the duck habitat post and reply from around the middle of last january in the Habitat improvement area.

I helped plant buckwheat in Ballard Co. on a private club around the pond banks before. I also heard of chufa being good. You'll have to draw the pond down some to do any good though.
