Yep, a 10 gague BPR. Got a whallop to it when it's fired but many a turkey have been killed way out yonder with it. Shoots a 3.5 inch shell and we like number 5 or 6 shot. Oh yes, turkey breast cut in strips and deep fried.:D

Now Retired to gun safe. Browning Gold 3 1/2" hunter. 12 gauge. .745 bore with .670 choke tube. Fires great patterns at 50 yards with Hevi shot # 5 .
Recoil is too much for this old man. Now I shoot a Remington youth 11-87 20 gauge 3" mag. .560 Mad Max choke tube with Hevi shot # 5 backed up with # 4's. Have not fired the second shot on any turkey. Rolls them stone cold dead at 40yards. No Recoil..Pleasure to hunt with. Leave all that extra recoil to you young turkeys...

My first turkey gun was a Browning B80 12ga 3". I killed a ton of turkeys with that gun including my first wild turkey way down in Georgia. I will always remember my first one. Anyway, at that time I used 3" nickle plated #4's made by Active. I believe it was 2oz of shot. I used a Hastings extra full turkey choke tube measuring .640 Today I would look at the Winchester Supreme turkey shell in either a 4#'s or 5#'s. As always, let me know if I can help.

Gold 3.5, not sure the choke, i have several, but nothing I have shot works better than the Federal Heavyweight in #6 shot. Its wicked deadly at long ranges. My second fave is the winchest high velocity in #6. I guess I am a #6 fan.

Browning BPS 12 gauge, 3 1/2 inch chamber
not sure about choke... I know its Invector or Invector Plus...it came with the gun.
I like the big shells.(3 1/2 inch) #6 shot
This year however, I think I'm gonna play some string music on the turkeys and stick one with my bow...Should be interesting.
