Took this outback a few minutes ago. The total of this Tom flock is eight and they have thier internal clocks set for the time the feeder goes off each day. Most days they are here a half hour early like today so I went down and tossed them a little extra corn so they would let me steal thier souls. The deer in the background it a regular also and is almost at pet stage as he comes running if he sees me out back.

I remove the feeder way before season so thats no problem. With the price of corn going up here it may be gone real soon...:D

Nope legal as heck...just can't hunt over bait for the turkeys. With a 100 acre backyard why not.

Feburary 29th is the deadline for the feeder to be taken down. Then it can beput back up July 31 i think.

I think you may be mistaken on the date. This feeder is within the limits that I can leave it up year round if I choose being it is in my yard 25 yards from the backdoor. If I wanted to hunt turkeys off the back deck it would have to be removed 30 days prior to the season start. That would be march 11th this year.

Corn must be removed by March 11, from the "curtilage" to legally hunt the farm or adjoining property.
