RUh ROH, i just read where meeks is dressed, but is having trouble walking in warm ups, said it's highly unlikely he'll play.........

Hmmmmm..... i don't see how bradley got in that position when he fell, almost looked like he mighta been trying to make the foul look worse. I"m not sure

why in the heck let krebs shoot free throws when he never plays.. bad move

smoov got jacked up there. I'm guessing he has a concussion too. Doubt he'll be back in the 2nd half.

They need Crawford in the game for the last 2 minutes. He looks like he is hurting!!!!!!!!!!

They have to rebound.

FANTASTIC lob Jasper to Patterson...........man I hope he stays! the 5-7 year rebuilding predictions could turn out to be 4 years if Patterson stays!

Good solid win on the road in the SEC will help rpi and confidence. Without Bradley, Meeks and Crawford had a big game even not at 100%. D looks solid and the O is looking more fluid.

I said by 5 and was right..

They looked off sequence today, looked a lot better the last couple games, but saying that, 6 weeks ago we would have got beaten by 20 against them

I thought Bradley had to have a concussion after that fall. He'll sure have a sore few days getting over that jaw jack (via the floor)!

The news said level 2 concussion, whatever that means. That was a strange play.

i swear art, watch the replay, it looks to me like bradley may have intentionally tried to make it look worse, i think he was trying to draw the flagrant or something.. I know i've seen him try it before which makes me beleive it even more, i think he might have done a little to well on that one. but i 'm not sure, it just looks awfully funny

he usually does little actin. all good ball players do it. i think he got knocked a little unintentionally which intensified his landing.

he probably got the wind knocked out of him on top of the chin, he came in the game fighting the flu. they probably decided that we would do better leaving him on the bench to rest.

anytime u hit the floor that hard with any part of your head, you're pretty much assured a concussion. I thought that immediately when I saw him land, and then I was pretty sure he would when I saw him walking to the bench and his face was already getting swollen. Lucky he impacted on his chin and not his face. Could have easily been a broken nose with facial fractures.

I got under cut trying to go for a dunk my sr. yr in high school, the last thing i remember is my head was just right below the back board, and when i looked my feet were straight in front of me, Flat of my back..... Saw stars for a while, sat down for a while, went back to playing in about 15 minutes...... Next day couldn't hardly walk..

I got knocked into a roof support pole once. Worst lick I ever took in ball game. Almost everytime I went into dunk Id get a "flick" in the privates or a elbow in the gut. I got "T"'d up and took out one night for blocking a shot back into the face of a guy who had just done that. Messed his nose up pretty good. Honestly though it was an accident. they didnt think so because of the circumstances:rolleyes:

it's scary getting undercut. I've landed on my back several times too.

Weirdest injury for me though was when I was playing, and I jumped up for a rebound. I had a horrible pain in my leg, and every step hurt after that. I had to quit playing, and I went to the doctor the next day. My fibula was broken  The fibula is the smaller, non-wt. bearing bone in your lower leg. To this day, I don't know why it broke?? The only thing I can figure is another guy kicked me in the air (inadvertantly of course) and snapped it? Weird injury; u just don't see that in basketball. Football linemen, yes, basketball, no.

It took me to my sr. year to be able to dunk, my freshman year i was bout 200#, i completed my classes by my jr. year and stayd in the gym being an aid the last 2 years, got down to 160, and could jump good. When I got to the point where I could go off one leg and get my wrist above the rim with ease I felt really good about it, wasn't a couple months later i went up and when i started to lift off my knee just wasn't there, no pain, just no lift at all........ scared the crap out of me, few weeks later, same thing again, it started to become more common, so i quit trying to jump higher, still play ball now, but when i gotta go up, i got off both legs now, and can barely grab the rim, 8 - 10 inches off your vertical takes a lot out of your game lol

I was a so-so leaper. My height was my dunking ability,LOL:o I was always kinda leery about trying to dunk in a game as our coach was anal about it and would kill you in practice the next day for missing an easy oppurtunity for a lay up. He was extremely old school, not that thats a bad thing but he was far to uptight. You couldent enjoy playing for him at all.

winning is great but that is not why i played. when a coach sucks the life out of the sport it draws down the team imo.

as far as dunking goes im only 5'7. 3-4 more inches i could dunk a basketball. my senior year i could get a soft volleyball but couldn't palm the basketball and get it over the rim. id get hung up every time.:D
