Jenny Richardson who is a pro lady archer and the person who was hired to run the Archery in the Schools program recieved an award at the IBO world shoot for her work with kids.

Kentucky has become the recognized leader in cutting edge programs for youth. Good job once again!!!

Xtreme--Is there any long term plans being mede along these lines?? I'm talking about maybe expanding the program in the schools already in the program, to make the classes monthly or weekly instead of a one time short course??

Never met her... but from what I hear & read, she's a real class act.

There was an article in one of the local newspapers, can't remember if it was Ky. Post, or Ky. Enquirer, about the archery in schools program. First time I've seen anything about archery since the 80's, when a guy from Ohio used to make the sports section once in a while for Olympic style tournaments. Think it was Darrell Pace.

the schools have state competitions in weight lifting, wrestling, band, track, cheerleading, etc, etc. it would be awesome to see the archery in schools program blossom out to state, regional and even a national competition

I'm expecting my first in December and am already thinking how cool it will be for her to have the option to choose archery as a school sponsored program.
Way to go Roy and everyone involved!

Naw, I enjoyed being single too much. I married at 30 and am now 33. I'm still a greenhorn for the most part. I want 12 kids but my wife says I should have married a 13 year old for that.

We are VERY excited about the littlen' on the way.
Do they make camo diapers?

CONGRATULATIONS THERE MULESKINNER, YA' BIG STUD!!

After reading your auto-biography on another thread, I think we should all chip in and buy the little tyke a BIG WHEEL. I think you may still have some issues about those things that need to be resolved.

Oh yeah, Big58Cal may get on here with some kind of nonsense about babies teething and getting sick and crying and stuff, but he'll just be yanking your chain. They practically raise themselves.

Shoot, I forgot what this thread was supposed to be about.

Congratulations on the little one on the way. Make yourself a hunting partner there. I wouldn't trade mine for anything.
