I was wondering if anybody else has horses? My family and I have 9 quarter horses. We do alot of trail riding and over night camping. I own to 2 reg. quarter horses myself.

Don't own any but I sure love going riding. My moms friends used to raise quarter horses and show them a while back. When I get some land after school I plan on getting a horse or two

My family has 2. One is a half thoroughbred half quarter horse, and the other is supposed to be appaloosa but she turned out pure white with blue eyes. here are some pics of our 2:

The red horse can be ridden, but he is still young and dumb. As for the white horse, I think she would make a good bag of dog food, and that is about it.

I raise and sell Kentucky Mountain Saddle horses and Rocky Mountain horses,
I ride occasionally but not as much as I need or want to.I have 3 half breeds for sale cheap if anybodies interested.2 year old gelding 1/2 Ky Mt horse (blue roan),3 year old philly 1/2 ky mt horse (blue roan) and a 9 year old mare (white and in foal) questionable lineage. I'll try to get pictures and post on the forsale board. Buy all 3 and I'll throw in some round bales of Timothy and Brohm Grass.

Our hunting group takes 8-10 horses to Colorado elk hunting. Saddlebreeds, walking horses, mules and quarter horses.Enjoy the rding as much as the hunting.Horses have to be in good shape, tough terrain(8,500 to 11,500 ft elevation). Will post some pics from last trip to West Elk Wilderness Area if we can figure out the proper procedure.

My brother and I have 6 together. But they are Thoroughbred broodmares, so not very rideable unless your on the track.

Our horses are nothing but big lawnmowers you have to feed and take care of:(. With my bad back and dad's fake hips, neither one of us get to enjoy riding them.

horses sure are money pits aren't they? Especially this year, I know several people who don't hardly have a pot to pi## in themself who are having to pay outrageous amounts to feed their horses because of our terrible hay crop.

Hay around our area was bad this year too. Some of our round bales look so pathetic i would have been embarrassed to sell them at full price.

I have a gaited american saddle bred gelden, a horse mule, a molly mule, and a coon hunting mule. My wife has 1 paint horse mare, a thoroughbred gelden, a foundation bred quarter horse gelden, and a regular quarter horse. She uses her horse's to barrel race with and i use mine for trail riding and to hunt off of.

I like to ride when i can find time. But that seems hard to find here lately or rather for quite a while now. I had to use my gelden to catch a cow that had gotten over into the next pasture the other day. That was the first time i had been on him in a year. I am planning on breaking one of the mules as soon as i can get the time to do it.

My grandfather owns 2 gaited Mammoth Mules, and my mother has 3 racking horses, they are all beautiful creatures, though none of us ride.
