SHOT SHOW in VEGAS

I may be going to the shot show in vegas Feb 2-5th has anyone ever been? I was wondering what to expect.

Yep been there....Take comfortable shoes...lots of walking. Do not try and cover the entire show in one day. Most hotels have a free shuttle bus to the convention center...use the bus if possable. You will have a great time and see more outdoor stuff under one roof than thought possable. Lots of free giveaways so be on the lookout for those.

Don't start picking up a brochure or catalog from every vendor you visit. Before midday your arms will be dragging the ground.

Take plenty of lunch money. A cheap sandwich and bottle of water will take most of a $10 bill.:eek:


Other wise plan to have a good time. A couple of years ago I spent 2 full days in the sporting sections and never even made it to the Mil/LE sections.

...and after the show hours remember the odds favor the house. :D

I am looking forward to it. I am getting to go for work. i am a fedreal buyer for the Kentucky National Guard. I am mostly going to look at the Military and LE stuff but may make it over to the outdoors stuff also........:D
Are there any of the big hunting celebs there. Like the realtree guys or Maybe Tiffany......?

Well the show was great. I have never seen so much hunting related stuff in one place...
I walked until my feet felt like they were going to fall off.
I got to meet several celebrities Bill Jordan, Micheal Waddell, David Blanton, the Drury brothers, Lee and Tiffany, The nooge, Stan Potts, Toxy Haas, and several others. It was a great time and would go back again if given the chance.

P.S. Tiffany is even Hotter in person.... lol
