Is there any way to get an option to where I could receive an email when someone has left me a private message? For some reason I can't remember to looks up there for the small red letters.

The emails I get showing posts on those threads which I have "subscribed" to, help out a lot. Was wondering if there was anything similar to notify of private messages?

If you go to the private message screen and click on the preference button ... that option should be available to you.
