Anybody know where I can find a net gun. I have looked online and so far only found sellers in other countries which I don't want to deal with. We are trying to capture some tame ducks and take them to a pond far away so they won't crap and leave feathers all over the place.

I think you'll have folks lined up if you just want to get rid of them. You're talking about a HUGE expense for something that could be taken care of by hunters.

An easy way to do it......

Big net, catfish, gill, or other net...
Four 8' stiff cane poles...
100' of rope.....
Blind to hid in...
100lbs of shelled corn...
Enough concrete blocks to put one every 3' along the back of the net...
5 water filled 8oz bottles...

Stand net up, support with cane poles.. Lean foward slightly...
Place the concrete blocks every 3' along the ground to hold the net down..
Tie the rope to the front support cane poles, run to blind...
Tie the water bottles to the front top of the net(3 on a 10' net) and 1 per side...This helps speed the net down...
Feed corn under the net for several days....
Hide in blind when ducks are use to it...
Pull rope....
Get ducks...:)

Now that is hilarious!!!
We have to do it humainly because the guys son doesn't want to see them killed. We tried the throw type bait nets while chasin them in a jon boat...it was fun but didn't work...these ducks are smart. If I could find some poison darts like on Ace Ventura that would work!!:D

We used to live on a private lake in Ohio, that was the running joke to deal with the problem Geese, and ducks.

You might be able to get fish and wildlife to do it..... They bring the canon nets to our jakes day every year and fire it off for a demo.

Get Mom to take him to Wal-Mart for half an hour and he won't have to see nuthin.

Sometimes we just make things too difficult.

This method works like a charm on chickens, dont see what ducks would be any different. How many ducks are there?

Well, his son is about 30 and has a mental disability so he would know they just didn't disapear...if only it was that easy we would have eliminated the problem and I would have a tame pintail hen to mount:D Next season if somebody hasn't picked them off they are fair game on the other farm pond!!
