Can anyone tell me what the savage 111fCXP3 are like. I was thinking of purchasing one in a 300 mag

I've got one in .270 Win. Great hunting gun. Extremely accurate. Synthetic stock and the low price means I don't worry about banging it around or getting it wet while out in the woods.

It's light which means it kicks hard. It's not painful but it's also not something I'd take to the range and shoot for fun. I don't think I'd want one in .300 Mag.
