how do you get rid of them, they are tearing our yard to pieces

They make traps that will kill them. Set it on a run, when they go under it 6 spikes will kill it. You can also get some insectiside that will grub worms and other things they are feeding on, but I would rather attach the moles itself and save the worms.

I've fought moles for years, use to think the only way to get rid of them was to die & leave them to someone else. Southern States & probably TSC should have poison "peanuts". I don't think they are really peanuts, but the moles will consume them & the good news is they will expire underground - kinda bury themselves. I also had a dog that could catch 'em and several cats that would catch moles. In the spring I've also sat in a lawn chair reading a book (to be still) and I'd see the dirt move, just shoot in the general direciton with a 44mag. You don't have to hit 'em, just come close. As you can tell I live in the country without neigbors or they would surly think I was crazy reading & shooting the ground every so often, but it did work! I finally shot, poisoned, dug up & cussed every mole out of my yard. Haven't had any for 20+ years.

Go to walmart or the farm store and get some Diazinon (sp?). It is a grub insecticide that you spread on your lawn. When the grubs are gone the moles will leave. Don't worry, you won't miss the grubs. It is the only way to have a mole free yard.

ez, i have heard the juicy fruit option. i heard it on "bob and tom" one morning, but i thought they were B.S-ing. ill try anything right now, they're killing my yard

I have heard of Juicey fruit gum and also using ALKA-Seltzer drop some down into the holes and listen for the POP!!!

There is a plant called a mole bean. The roots are supposed to be poisenous
