Looks like about 75% of the bobcat harvest is by hunting, 25% by trappers.
I'm sure most are takin incidental to deer hunting, but, some are called in.
Any successful bobcat callers out there?? have any recommendations on call types, methods and terain setups??

I have had my partner that I hunt with call a bobcat in. This is how he related it to me.
"I was sitting on ************* farm, where I could watch 600+ acres of flat picked corn grown. I was scanning with my Bino's and saw a cat about 900 yrds away...I put in my "dying housecat" tape. The cat noticed it right away. It took 1 hr and 35 min for that cat to get to 55yds...I used my shotgun with the new coyote choke tube, I didn't want to ruin the hide"
That's his story, and he brought home the cat. I know nothing at all about calling in bobcats...
We kill most of our coyote's by ambush hunting, up to 6 this year between us....
I use my bluetick coon dogs to run bobcats. Treed 11 last year and 3 this year. I hunt them in the early morning hrs after daylight.
