Xtreme's out of town till Monday. When he gets back, we'll need to go behind closed doors and vote on the topics posted here--BAITING, MOVING FALL TURKEY, and WMA FEES
Please post your comments and decide how you stand on the issues.
Multi- Have you, Grouse and Big.58 looked at the By-laws I sent. (Also, I will send these to anyone that wants them)
I think they need to get adopted so we have some Rules to go by. One is the VOTING.
Here is what is written now.
I think we all need to come to some type of agreement on how we are going to vote. Y'all look these over and let's come to an agreement on how we are going to do business. Then, let's do it!
<b>SECTION 6
RULES OF DISCUSSION
Discussion concerning items of the Club shall be made on the Open Forum. Items requiring resolution shall be moved to the Closed section of the Clubs forum. Any member can call for a vote on an item. The Call to vote shall require a second by another member.
SECTION 7
RULES OF VOTING
Items requiring a vote of this Club shall be placed in the Closed section of the Forum. The item shall be placed in the form of a motion that is clearly stated. The item will either be voted up or down. If changes are made to motion they must be accepted by the person that made the motion and voting shall start over from the time of change. The voting window shall remain Open for a period of seven (7) days. The votes will be tabulated by the President and verified by the Vice President.

GSP I'm a little uneasy on this 7 day thing, I'm more in tack with Xtrimes 48 hr deal everything else looks good to me. But if we're going to vote on the issues that Multi is talking about we need to get off our a== and get it done the commission meeting is Aug. 23rd and their working their ass off to see that these things happens. So lets shit or get off the pot.

I've posted the By-laws and Charter. I'm thinking we're screwed if the meeting on the 23rd is like past meetings. Most of the changes requested will be put in effect then. Any stategies we can come up with to delay a vote by the Commission on these issues???

Multi in my opinion with Xtreme gone and sence we've voted on one issue already, I say you take the ball and run. Post and vote. We've got a good ideal of the two matters, so lets go. Untill we pass the by-laws that are on the table go with the 48 hr deal.

Gentlemen, I think we must think about this a little, If one is gone for a weekend there could be a item come up and be passed without them even having a chance to comment? 48 hours is very short in my opinion and I respect Rick to much to proceed without his input??
wait on the PREZ. i sure would hate it to look like we went behind his back.......ez

Boys Rick left things in Multis' hands we're not going behind his back this is the way any club is set up. If we vote now that means we won't close the voting until next Thursday the commission meeting is next Friday, that's cutting things close.
If you guys are hell bent of 7 days i'll go for it but we bettet get started now. I make a motion GSP or someone goes to our closed section now and post the by-laws for vote.
How about this everyone. Xtreme asked this group of folks there OPINIONS on these topics. I think it is safe to say we have formed an opinion on them. When he gets back, let's have him forward our thoughts on to the Commission. Actually, it is the same results as a vote. Since we really have not voted upon any By-laws, it's legit!
We need to get these official opinions headed to the Commission members ASAP! Rick should be back in time to pull this off.

That makes sence to me GSP. What is going on at Central? I was talking with an old boy Tuesday he said they had mowed about 75 acres, and still cutting. Have you woke someone up? Is this good or bad?
I don't know what's going on down there Bird. Remember, the Long Term planning is Strickly an internal issue!!!!
We were just asking for a dove field that wood be of better quality than my front yard.
