Someone told me about a place over near Taylorsville that you can buy Pheasant, Rabbit and/or Quail. Anybody know where they're talking bout?

Also, would these be live or processed?

Would really like to try one and figured this would be the cheapest route instead of making an out of state road trip to hunt them.

Check out the small game section. If you are just looking for eating vs working dogs, I would have them wring the neck on some hens instead of cocks. Smaller bird, but seems a little better eating.

Well my brother, cousin, and uncle went on the funnest bird hunt I've ever been on this past thanksgiving. You go to this place and buy your birds, and then turn them lose in a huge feild. You wait about an hour and then you go out and the guide works the dogs for you and the dogs flush the birds. It is so fun and some AWESOME eatin. wooohooo. Pheasant is now my favorite kind of bird to eat. Here is a former post of our trip. Thanks.

if your looking for good birds to release look up two toms farm out of lebanon. they raise about 150,000 flight conditioned birds a year. we've been releasing them in native grass fields with good survival rate. just yesterday I found 6 that were released 4 weeks ago. they flie as good as the wild birds I killed this year in iowa.

Okay, here's the phone number. 261-7210 I think these are live birds, but you can call.

Actually drove out that way Sat and got the number on the way back from T-ville but no one has answered yet.
