Tech help?

I got a 2gig memory card for my camera phone, it's a 1.3 mega pix. It's supposed to store a tremendous amout of pic's, something like 1, or 2 k, but after 10-15 pic's it says it's full.I tried messing with the resolution but it's still the same amount of pic's.With just 1.3 megapix I can't see the problem with getting lots of pic's on it.What can I do to get it to store more pic's? Thanks for any help.

Sounds like it's storing the pixs on the camera memory instead of the card.

You do have a removable card in don't you????

If you don't you'll have to buy one and stick it in, and there are several different sizes available.

I also got the cac reader, just have'nt hooked it up yet, wanting to get more pic's on the card before I download them.The camera/phone did'nt come with a memory card, the message I get is "memory card is full", that happens after 10-15 pic's and it wont allow me to take more.

All I did was put it in the phone, and started to take pic's to see if it worked. Now when I take pic's it lets me know they are on the card, other than that everything appears to be normal.

go into your menu section of the phone and go under tools,,,and you should find it in there,,,

You should be able to format the card from the camera menu or from your computer or card reader.

if that doesn't work i'll go with the earlier suggestion that it is storing on the internal memory still. i would consult the owners manual for instructions to switch from internal memory to memory card.

Ditto. When I activate my camera, I can go under the options menu and switch from phone memory to card memory as the default storage. Treerat's format suggestion may be something too. My phone automatically formated my card when I put it in.

It may be that your phone doesn't recognize a card that large (depending on how old your phone is). When I got my phone and was shopping for a card, I saw several mentions of phones not working properly with cards over 1 gig.

Make sure the card is pushed all the way in.
