I'm looking at this gun for 230.00 new.Anyone give me some advice on this gun,good or bad.I'm looking to get into varmint hunting,dont want to jump in over my head to quick. Thanks for any advice. eagle.eye

Mine is a tack driver and does well on the Yotes.

I can't say enough good things about mine. I have the Ultra with camo-laminate stocks and a 2X7 Redfield mounted. My daughter and I have taken a dozen or so deer with it and it can't be beat for the groundhogs and coyotes.

I have that rifle but in .243 and its a real tack driver. With a good scope 250 yard shots are not a problem.

I had one that shot great, I traded it for a 243 and it shoots even better.

i have the SB2 ultra in 25-06. best rifle i've ever owned. i also have a 308 barrel for it. haven't fired a shot through it yet. i have no doubt it'll be a tack driver as well. you can't go wrong with these guns in my opinion. good luck.

I have the .223 in Bull Barrel all black and its a tack driver, I wouldnt trade it for love nor Money!!!

I had a bull barreled one in .223 and it was a tack driver! They are great guns for the $!
