A truss, needs no other support. If you frame it with common rafters, you will need to brace your walls temp., and then install collar ties or joists to each pair of rafters!

Since you are making the roof pich pretty steep you will have some room up there for storage if you have your truses made right. I would go with 8 foot walls since most studs are 8' anyway it will give you more head room which would be nice.

Are you getting engineered trusses or are you just using this terminoligy to describe your rafters? Engineered trusses need only wind bracing and a rat run to keep your ceiling in line. These trusses will come with an instalation packet outlining what you need to do.

since i am not able to do it myself,,a friend of mine is going to build the trusses for me,,,already know how they are going to be built ,,,i hope,,,so we can have quit a bit of loft storage,,,
thats what i have been debateing,,,7 or 8' walls,,,i know would have more headroom with 8,,since i am 6'4",,,would be very little more money to go with 8",,,,

It shouldn't cost you any more money. Most lumber yards stock studs which are 92 1/2" long...so with a header and a sill, they create a 96" (8') wall. Most siding (and I presume you're going to use T-111 sheets) is in eight foot lifts.

The building I built myself is 16'x16' with 12/12 pitch trusses, no other bracing needed.

I would use at least 2x8s for the celing joist and rafters. Your rafters will be 20' or better with an over hang. if you are spaning 16' and 2x10s if you plan on having any weight on them If you make them righ they should work fine.

With an 8/12 pitch, attic space will be limited on a 16' wide building, with an attic highth of 5' 4", from the top of the wall to ridge pole.;)

All good advice, but if you are unsure about any extra bracing or nailing, PUT IT IN!
2 x 8 ceiling joists are fine for limited storage on 16' span, 2 x 6 rafters with collar ties, kingpost bracing with cross bracing will carry the roof load, be sure and tie it all together.
