Hey its the last week before Christmas and most of us have one more week of work. Thought it would be cool to have a thread to discuss Christmas topics like what gun we are going to by our wives for Christmas or why we need a Scentlook Suit for Christmas. Also give us any cool Christmas hunting stories.

I've noticed that when i'm endlessly flipping pages of my latest Les Baer catalog that my wife has that "kid in the candy store" look.I'm pretty sure she is tryin to tell me to buy her one of those 1911's or maybe even a super varmint.

Dang, I hate mixed signals, guess she will get both.;)

I am hoping the girlfriend took the hint and bought me a new pair of windproof/waterproof coveralls with the hood I have been hinting around about. I just hope she likes what I got her, I'm sure she will.

Well my better half had one of my best friends and closest hunting buddy pick out a couple of things. So this could be a very Merry Christmas for me.
Merry Christmas!

This year my son will be getting his first gun. I bought him the .22-20 gauge Rossi combo from Dicks. He loves to shoot my .22 and has been asking when he is going to get his. I can't wait.

Your son will love it. I bought my son a Rossi 22/410 combo two years ago. Its been a fun cheap sstarter gun for him. This year my youngest daughter (7) shot it. She liked the 22 but the 410 surprised her and she had a couple of tears the first time she shot it.

Great score and I fine looking deer.

I had someone at lunch tell me if you put a Dow rod between the antlers for the three months that they are required to dry before scoring you can save 1/2 to 1 inch.

How redneck is it to give ammo and gas cards for Christmas? All the talk about country people hating the city and I'm buying .223 ammo and Five Star gas cards for my nephew.

Several years ago i bought this same gun for my son,he loved that the .410 had a little spunk to it:).

My daughter after wasting many .22lrs did not like the .410 and her reaction was to throw it as far as she could:eek::D.We got a big laugh out of it and a couple years later she got a Rossi 20ga. that she doesn't mind shooting but still thinks that .410 is the DEVIL:D.
