An Eastern Kentucky sheriff's deputy was in court Monday.
Court officials say Johnson County Deputy Tom Wyatt is facing charges relating to illegally shooting a deer.
He pleaded not guilty.
Deputy Wyatt and the sheriff both declined to comment on the situation
