Hello, I have a beautifull 1 year old Female Lab (Black)...
She is free to a good home, as long as she will have a place to run free, jump, play and maybe chase a few birds. The dog is akc registered.

I have a TON of money invested here, and need for her to have a good home. My wife bought me the dog, and we didn't plan on having a pre-mature baby, and now simply don't have the time, money or place for her.

If you are interested, and in the Western Ky area please let me know, She has outgrown the fenced area we have for her, I love the dog, and that is why I am doing this. It's not right that I don't have the time/place for her any longer.

I thought that I heard KDFW are looking for some more dogs. Maybe you can try there.

What are they (KDFWR) looking for dogs for?????? I haven't heard anything about this.

They train them to look for missing people. A woman and her son were lost in the Dan. Boone Nat'l forest back in about April or so and it was one of the KDFWR dogs that found them the next morning. They are wanting to expand the number of dogs in this program and are asking for people to donate dogs. If I remember correctly, the dogs that they have the greatest interest in are Labs and retrievers. Call your local CO and see if he can give you any information. Hope you find a great home for your dog.

The dogs are basically police dogs. They search for people, dropped game, spent shell casings, etc. They also, just as other police dogs, are trained in the apprehension of suspects.

Reckon if that would be a good life "For a dog", I just want her to be happy, and have more room than she has now, and an owner with more time <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

I may be interested in your dog. I am in Western Kentucky and have a few acres that would be good for a dog. I don't plan on using her for one of KDFWR k-9's. Just a hunting buddy and a good pet. Shoot me an email.

[:D]I am very interested in your black lab.I had a yellow female for thirteen years and just resently had to put her down.Me and my Wife also just had a baby (A Boy,8 weeks old) and would love to have a new puppy for him to play with when he gets old enough. Hi I was wondering if you still had your lab. i am interested in her if you still have it. I have 2 black labs that are 12 weeks old, 2 bassets and 5 hunting dog, we take good care of our animals and live in a rural community and she would have a place to run and play. please email me back! amie955@aol.com
