I think everybody should get punished for DUI...no matter who it is! But you know he had fun...glad he didn't hit anyone in that tanker though!!!
I've nearly been killed by drunk drivers twice. I think a DUI conviction should carry an automatic 24 month prison term.

No arguement here from me!! What kills me is the people who have been convicted and get their license taken away but get 2 more convictions while on a susp. license! I have a buddy who's cousin was killed by a drunk driver, and know a few people that have family killed by drunk drivers. Its pathetic.

That would sure lower the traffic congestion around the holidays here in Bowling Green!
It amazes me how easy the courts are on DUI's here. One of our officers recently arrested a girl (20 or 21) for her 5th dui and 4th offense driving on a suspended dui license. Both are felonies. When court time came around, it was determined that all the previous dui's were lowered to DUI under 21 which is a lesser offense so both felonies were dropped to first offenses which are misdemeanors. BTW, dui under 21 is a BAC of .02-.079 if the person is under 21 y/o.

That is just wrong!!!!!!!!!! What happens the next time she drives drunk has an accident and kills someone. I wonder what they will think of how they lower her previous dui's to a misdemeanors!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:mad:

That sorry bish should have been put in jail for 10 years and sterilized so she doesn't spread her sorry genes when she gets out..

Laws reflect the interests of those in power. Thats why DUI is so 'under' punished. Men who are wealthy, retired, and socially active like their booze.

I like a cold beer as much as the next man, but I don't want to risk hurting myself or someone else and possibly a murder charge by getting behind the wheel. There's no place that is so important to get to that one must drive drunk.

Thats just plain freakin pathetic!!! Lock her sorry butt up! If she kills someone next time, which she will obviously do it again...why quit at 5 when you get off easy...anyway, if somebody found out...ALL HELL would be let loose!!!:mad:
