First off welcome to the site and this is a great place to learn and share with others

i used to have a 22-250 awesome gun...wish i had another
i have been thinkn about getting me one of those single shot rifles in 22-250,222,243...reason being they are extremely cheap like $100-150
and you can beat and nag them up without worries that your destroying a exspensive gun...

My brother has a Howa 30-06, he's hunted deer with it for 10 years and never had any complaints.
