I've never tried hunting, just target shooting...and they are no good. Maybe you could use them for an airgun, but not anything larger. Don't buy a good gun and put cheap optics on it! There are plenty of good scopes to be had for $200 or less. Bass Pro puts them on sale all the time (southern IN store).

Dont fool with the E-Bay junk like NC star. Why would someone pay 500-800 dollars for a quality deer rifle and then stick a 39.95 special from Chinamart,opps,I mean Walmart on it and then bitch about their rifle not hitting, I have lived and learned Dont waste your money on a scope from wallyworld unless its under glass. I like Leupold and Nikon myself,but there are a bunch of quality scopes out there with very good warranties.
