Well guys, this weekend was the first time out since Friday of the opening week. We killed two greenheads that Friday.
Yesterday I went and ended up being by myself.:eek: Anyways me and the dog went to our hole and got everything set up. Had a pair of blacks come in about 20 minutes (man wished another one of the buddies had came):D/ I took one of them and had the other fly around for about 10 minutes. Then had a couple of groups of gads come in. One group of four came in at point blank and I whiffed with three shots:mad:. I ended the morning up with one black, a drake gaddy and a mallard. sorry no pic forgot camera
Today went back to same hole with a buddy. We saw 9 total ducks with six of them working our spread within range. Here are our results:
3 gaddys and a pair of mallards (took the pair with a single shot; first time for that)

We are starting to see new birds (NOT MANY AT ALL, but we are seeing some newbies). Lets hope it gets cold and nasty up north and we get the season we have been waiting for A LONG TIME. Good luck to all.
