Man I saw that thing and started laughing--but you watch someone will use it and be on the net somewhere with a hoss buck claiming he came to it----just like the pic someone had posted here of a big buck killed by bow that was supposedly fighting a mini deer statue--strang things happen

If you watch the videos they have, all the deer are on alert when they see the decoy. Also all the bucks steered away from the thing. The only ones that came close to it were two doe. Most of the videos were basically of the deer passing through anyway and the decoy just happend to be in the far corner of the field.

Electronic deer decoys are illegal in KY, and there's a very good reason they're illegal. ;)
I've had a tremendous amount of success using deer decoys in the past, but found that deer (especially does) tended to spook when the decoy never moved. I was planning on buying the robo-deer (has an electronic head and tail) until I learned that they were illegal here.
Although this particular deer decoy doesn't look all that realistic, I'd bet a good bit of money that I could attract and kill a P&Y deer using it.
. . . .so I guess you count me as one of those gullible sorts that would actually use an electronic decoy if I could. :D

I know that electronics are illegal and also know that decoys do work. I was just referring to this particular decoy, I mean look at it, pretty sad. Is there a decoy of some type out that has the moveable head and or tail that if there were some wind would cause motion like some turkey decoys I've seen. If nothing else I suppose a person could use fishing line to make the head bob if there were such a decoy.

BuckWing Bobbn Head decoy is a bobble head. It moves with the wind. As it's not electronic, it should be legal in KY.

It's electronic calls or electronic decoys. The book makes it very confusing.

Not that Multi. I'm talking about the "electronic calls or decoys" part. It makes it sound like all decoys. They should have wrote "electronic calls and electronic decoys"

As for decoys, you can still use electronic decoys for waterfowl, just not for deer, elk or turkey
