any of you fine people on here a civil engineer? that is what im wanting to go to school for, are there any good CE programs around my end of the state? IN or IL doesnt matter where... pref. under 3 hours away.

im pretty sure getting in wont be a problem unless the school has insanely high standards

UK has a good engineering school,and is less than 3 hours from you.

WKU is right there with UofL and UK. I looked at the others and ended up at WKU. The CE professors are great here and are willing to help you with anything you need. Be ready to give up your social life when you get past the basics and start the hard stuff...believe me, I have spent plenty of nights studying, and then studying some more the next morning. It has affected my hunting time this season!:D And if you stay in state you won't have a problem getting in.
