Well there's one thing thats for sure about the big opener. Were going to have good weather and conditions for a good morning. Might not turn out like that but it's adding up to be. Good winds with this front moving in to push some new birds into our area.

With the rain we are getting, here in Owensboro at least, there should also be some sheet water to keep em around for a couple days at least. Maybe the duck gods are shining down upon us... wait we live in KY, do duck god's even hear prayers from this part of the country.:confused:

the thing im liking the most is that we are forecasted for northernly winds all 4 days i do believe. Man i sure cant wait to fire the first shot of the season in the morning. I love this time of year.

Aparently they don't. I drove around Ohio/Mclean counties for 4 or 5 hours Wednesday and didn't see one bird...and it's usually loaded up. Didn't get to go yesterday morning because I didn't have a spot to hunt and this morning I came back to BG because I have to work at 2 and wanted to get through the traffic as soon as possible!...hopefully I'll be going in the morning and Sunday! If not its between deer or rabbits
