I am looking for a place in KY to hunt wild hogs. A couple of us here would really like to try it out, but have never been. Does anyone know of a place here or in TN to go relatively cheap. I dont care about a gigantic hog, just the experience and the meat. We live in western kentucky but would be willing to travel a few hours. Thanks for any help.

Do a search for hogs in Kentucky. There are a bunch of threads here on the subject, all of which concluded you need to drive to Georgia or Florida for a good chance on a pig.

Just so as not to start another hog thread....

There was a woman in a filling station this morning that said she lived on the west side of Franklin County showing a police officer and anyone else that would look a camera phone photo of a wild hog that she took in her back yard last night....

My brother and I have been thinking about going on a trip soon to go for wild hogs. I have never been hog hunting before and if anyone has any info on it please let me know. From what I heard you have to go way south to get any decent hogs. Also is there any state that allows hog hunting on public land year around so we don't have to pay an outrageous fee just to shoot a pig in a fenced in area? A lot of people say that they are just a nuisance animal anyway. I would just like to pay gas to get there and a non-resident 3 day license and have some fun while putting a little meat in the freezer. If anyone has some info please let me know. Thanks
