Owen County Woes

I guess owen county has been good to everyone but me. I went out last night and this morning without seeing a single deer. I got busted last night after dark and this morning 1/2 mile from my stand. I heard about 5 shots taken. My father in law had 11 does around him this morning but no bucks trailing. I looked forward to hunting owen county so bad that I was slightly disappointed. I guess that's why they call it hunting and not killing. I hope my father in law invites me down again soon.

owen county is leading the way right now in total harvest...the deer are there man so go put some meat in the freezer! lol jk man good luck on gettin one

Man I sorry to hear that.After we spoke I wondered how you did. I'm headed back up this weekend so wish me luck.I did kill a cedar tree the other day.Had a nice 12 walk out of a thicket here in Mercer Co and he spooked as i pulled the trigger.the tree field dressed a good 65 pounds and had a nice spread on it.:D
