I saw another thread on here mentioning them. Ours is pretty weak too. Afew years ago when the crop was so good I got word that it was due to the 11 inches of snow we had.
Anybody know much about dedrology is it true that the slow soak that the oaks get from snow makes a big difference in the next acorn crop we get?
I do know guys who actually pick a tree or two close to their stand and drive fertilizer spikes or dump a bag of 10-10-10 around the tree and say it works very well. Anybody else ever done this?
