Guys, this same, or similar thread was probably posted last year, and more than likely every year.

I wanted to start it this year because I feel I have been so blessed lately, and feel closer to the big guy upstairs than I ever have before.

What am I thankful for?

Thankful that I have a soon to be and and her wonderful kids.

Thankful that my family are all healthy, safe, warm, fed, and happy.

Thankful for so many things to possibly mention here.

Thankful for this site and all the wonderful members I have met, and have yet to meet.

Thankful for all the members wisdom, and sharing.

Thankful to ol' 12 pointer for letting me bend his ear.

Guys, theres so much we can find to be negative about, but theres much, much more to be thankful for I believe.

Thank God for this great country, and may all be safe in their travels during this great holiday! Happy Thanksgiving to all.

I think I'm going to have to force myself to be thankful this year. I've already been accused of complaining alot here today so I might as well live up to it - this has been the worst year of my life. The death of my cousin, my wife had 2 miscarriages, my dog got ran over by a dually, was sick for 6 months, got permanent nerve damage, major house problems, struggled on the edge of alcoholism, doctors thought I had brain cancer, and about 10 other very serious things if I thought about it hard.

But hey, I still got two great kids, a loving wife, my car is still rolling, and there's deer meat in the freezer, and for all that, I am thankful.

The other stuff can kiss my ass though.

I'm thankful that my heart cath today was fine and I'm on my way to feeing better after several months.

I'm thankful that my business is continuing to grow and I'm starting to find my niche market for my taxidermy work.

I'm thankful for my family and how they have been so supportive.

I'm thankful and amazed that my wife has and continues to put up with my BS for nearly 33 years.

I'm thankful that we are free to worship a forgiving Lord in a free society who is willing to forgive someone like me.
