It sure was a knarly one. I am going to have it mounted for her. she helped skin and debone it. Funny thing hers had several ticks still alive on it.

Congrats to the girl. That was a wooly looking sucker.

The ticks on animals are very much alive and well. It takes a pretty good extended cold spell to kill them off of their well heated hosts. We haven't had anything near what it would take yet.

She sure was proud. We barely got set when my 9 year old daughter spotted him about 200 yards in the tree line. I grunted a few times and he came on a dead run at us. I stopped him about 75 yards and she dropped him with one shot. I was just glad I could be a part of it.

I was happy to have the time to take her. Now I have to get it mounted for her. She has already told me to book time for her next season.
