How far could/would a 7MM bullet travel if it were not stopped?

About all centerfire cartridges will travel 5-7 miles if fired at an optimum angle.

5-7 Miles seems to be a little far, but I'm not sure so that's why I asked.

If a .22lr can got 1 1/2 miles, I'd say 5-7 miles on a high powered rifle seems about right.
