Those of you who hunt within range of Madisonville, and would like to have a deer processed, need to check out the place directly across the street from Lakeside Liquors. $60.00 start to finish, and the last two weekends, they've had a less than 24hr turnaround. Their cuts look better than anything I've gotten in the past from Hopkinsville, Princeton, or Sebree. They also promise your meat is your deer which is an issue I've discovered from other places as being not true (finding part of a broadhead in a ham from a deer that hadn't been shot with a bow).

If you don't know where they are, it's exactly across from the driveway of the liquor store. VERY small place in the back of the guys house, but they are super nice and do a great job. They've done two for my group this year with stellar results!!

why would you pay for processing? I don't understand.

putting up the meat is a part of the experience to me.

Part of the experience to YOU. Not him. I don't think he is asking you to "understand".

Some people don't have the time, experience or equipment (or desire) to do it themselves.

To each his own.

I drop one off from time to time if I can't get to it myself.

Not my deer. My cousin's and a buddy's.

Depending on how much time I have to work with is weather I do it myself or not.
