Green River

Just wondering if anyone has been to Green lately. I am hunting there opening morning and I hope it is holding birds even if they are local. Let me know if you have any info.

I was in the holme's bend/corbin's bend area today. Didn't see the first duck at all. Went down into the river bottoms in the neatsville area also. Didn't see the first duck there either. On a positive note, there is enough water to hunt, just no ducks. I wasn't in the area at daylight, so I can't say about the number of woodies that might be around, but I was down on the creek near my house this morning and neither saw/heard any woodies. It doesn't look good for the opener, but maybe some will push in before Thursday.

Well we go there every opening day and always seem to kill ducks. We killed 13 last year and I hope it is the same this year. Let me know if you see anything on Wednesday if you dont mind. Thanks

I am headed down tomorrow to finish the blind in the bottoms. I don't expect any big ducks, but oh well.

Lots of woodies in the evening in the neatsville area.. The last two days while bowhunting I have seen a ton of birds fly over to the swamp...

We just finished the blind this weekend, Haven't seen or heard anything in the area, But we will be there Thurs. AM, We will be hunting up on the river in a blind we were drawn for at neatsville. I keep you posted , let me know if you guys have any luck, Good Luck!
