Thinking about trying yote hunting

What kind of calls do you guys use the most . I am asking because I have never been and would like to get started on the right foot . THANKS

I use mouth calls the most myself. You can start out with just a couple of rabbit squealers with slightly different tones.I would recomend th Lohman dual tone and a Johnny Stewart pc3 if you can find them in your area, or Haydels governement hunter model.

I would also read everything I can find anywhere. There are two sites on the web that have tutorial listed in thier forums for chasing coyotes in the east. Fins and Fur .net and Predator Masters both have them.You can read these without joining if you wish. The one at PM is the book on doing this, it can be overwhelming there is so much info t read. But it will be well worth your time doing so. They mention calls, setup , locating and even some on how to handle diferent situations you might come up with, including downwind style calling.
