FYI, if you cut up deer steak and use it in stroganoff instead of ground beef, it is most excellent. I used this recipe last night and I loved it:

Very simple and easy. I didn't use any sour cream though, just a little milk. Sour cream isn't exactly a staple at my house and I was too lazy to go to the store. :D

Mmm I love this stuff but I make it with Elk. And YES I use Sour Cream. ;)

Pressure cook deer heart then do as described is also good.

Try adding a healthy amount of Paprika to the mix after you are mixing it all together. That's how my mom makes hers and its the best I've ever had. :)

Do the same basic thing and will mix it up every once and a while. Substitute Cr. of chicken, no onions or sour cream and marinated chicken breast. Pork is also good.
