i know there are alot of people on here that take young hunters out to try and get them started and i am one of them i was just curious does anyone try to take someone that is a little older out? to me if i can get anyone hunting i am happy. just wondering? i took a guy out that is 37 last year and he has been hooked , line sinker and all. i know kids are the future but what about now, it seems if we are trying to keep hunter numbers up then we should see and hear more stories of older first time hunters too.

I'm taking my brother out on Saturday. He is 27 and I'm 25.
He always wanted to hunt but never got a chance since he served two tours in Iraq. I married into about an 70 acre farm so he's going to get his chance!!

Three of my best buddies never hunted until I met them. Trying to do the math..........So they all started sometime in there 20s or 30s. Of course we are all in our 40s now. Man, was it that long ago? This thread is depressing :). One of them has 3 kids that are all big hunters. So I guess directly and indirectly I can take credit for bringing 6 hunters into the fold.
